These 1oz. tallow cubes will now be by pre-order only! We are happy to put your tallow into pre-measured cubes, but will need a little patience when you place your order. We continue to carry the exact same raw cosmetics tallow, which comes in small unmeasured chunks, in our shop - this just means you will have to use a kitchen scale or measuring tool to make your favourite recipes!
This tallow comes from the highest quality suet, which we order from local grass-fed farms here in Ontario, Canada. Each batch of suet goes through a triple rendering process to remove any remaining impurities and beefy smell, making it the best choice for crafting cosmetics, soap and candles. It is a smooth, white, luxurious raw ingredient!
While there is no "beef" smell, there is still a slight fatty odor that varies from batch to batch. The color also varies from off cream to pure white! When stored in a cool, dark place (unrefrigerated) this tallow has a shelf life of 1.5 - 2 years.
